Found a jade plant at a garage sale that was 15 years old and barely alive

So last Saturday I'm driving around the south side and spot this garage sale with a beat up jade plant sitting in the corner. The lady said it was her mom's from 2009 and she just forgot to water it for like 3 months straight. Leaves were all wrinkled and falling off. I offered her $5 and she practically gave it to me. Got it home, gave it a good soak, trimmed the dead stuff off, put it in a south window. Three days later it's already perking back up. Has anyone else rescued a plant that looked totally gone and had it bounce back?

2009 is crazy old for a jade, mine from 2016 is like a tree now.

Right? "Like a tree now" is exactly what happened to mine too. I got a little jade cutting from a neighbor back in 2010 and it was just a few tiny leaves in a 4 inch pot. Now the trunk is thick as my wrist and it's like 3 feet tall. I had to repot it twice already because it kept tipping over. Yours from 2016 turning into a tree sounds about right, they really take off after a few years if you don't mess with them too much.
