My homemade nettle soup sent me on an unexpected adventure
Forgot to wear gloves while harvesting, and my hands swelled up like balloons. Lesson learned: some plants fight back.

Washing with plain soap and water helps a ton. Gets the plant oils off your skin before they can do more damage. Just don't use hot water, makes the itching way worse.
