My pothos collection hit 60 plants last Saturday and I counted them twice to be sure
I started with one sad pothos from a grocery store in Tucson about 3 years back, and last Saturday I lined them all up on the kitchen floor and counted 60. Most came from cuttings I traded with people at the farmers market, plus a few I rooted in plain tap water on the windowsill. The wild part is I still have the original plant, and its leaves are bigger than my hand now. Does anyone else keep a running list of their plants, or am I the only one who counts them like this?
Counted twice because you couldn't believe it, right? I get that. My question is what happens when they outgrow the kitchen floor, because 60 is a lot for one spot. Do you have a shelf setup or are they just everywhere now, like on every windowsill and counter? And how do you keep track of which cutting came from who at the farmers market, since trading gets confusing after a while. I'm at 14 myself and I already forget which one is which. The original plant getting huge makes sense though, those grocery store ones surprise you once they settle in.
