Overheard a plant shop employee whisper "stop naming your plants, Susan"

I was browsing at a nursery in Austin and this employee muttered that under her breath to a coworker after some lady named her pothos "Gertrude." It hit me hard because I have 12 plants with full names and maybe I took it way too far.
