Please stop watering your succulents on a schedule, mine almost died from it
My echeveria on the kitchen sill went mushy at the base about 3 weeks ago because I was watering every Sunday like clockwork. I pulled it out, saw the roots were brown and soft, and left it bare on a paper towel for 9 days. The soil was still damp 5 days after the last pour, which should have been my clue. Now I only water when the leaves feel a little soft and bendy, not on a set day. Anyone else figure out their own plant's real rhythm, and what finally tipped you off?
