The day my prize orchid got kidnapped by a squirrel

Last Tuesday I stepped out to water my Cattleya and saw a squirrel dragging the whole pot up a maple tree like it was a takeout bag. It dropped it from 12 feet after a crow dive-bombed it, and somehow the flower spike survived, but I've been eyeing every squirrel with pure hatred since. Has anyone else had a plant thief in the yard, or am I the only one running a lemonade stand watch shift for a flower?

Figured the crow was the real hero here, so maybe you should be thanking it. Squirrels drop stuff all the time, that orchid just got lucky.
