The tomato starts I left on the porch in Tulsa got hit by a late frost and I had 4 left out of 18
I started 18 tomato plants from seed back in February and had them sitting on my south facing porch to harden off. Then the first week of April a cold front dropped us to 29 degrees overnight and I didn't cover them, just went to bed like an idiot. Woke up to 14 of them black and limp, only 4 pulled through. I ended up buying starts from a nursery on 15th street to make up the gap, but the store bought ones never caught up to my survivors. Has anyone found a cheap way to cover a bunch of starts without hauling them all back inside every night?
