Thought those 'talking to plants' people were just making it up
My neighbor in Austin swore by chatting with her ferns every morning, and after my own started looking rough, I gave it a shot for about three weeks. The new growth came in way fuller than before, which honestly surprised me. Has anyone else seen a real change from something like that?

What exactly were you saying to them? Like, were you just giving a weather report or actually complimenting the leaves? I tried it but felt silly and just talked about my day, didn't see much difference. Maybe the type of chat matters.

Disagree completely, @wade_young86. The feeling silly part is the whole point, it breaks your normal pattern.
