Vent: I was watering my jade plant every Tuesday for a year before a friend in Phoenix pointed out the leaves were soft from overwatering.

Seriously? I just wait for the leaves to look a little wrinkly... that's the only sign I trust.

Used to do that too until mine got all crispy.
