Appreciation post: My $80 brick chisel saved a whole chimney repair
I was cutting out some old, hard mortar on a job last week and my old chisel snapped clean in half. Grabbed the new one I bought on a whim, and it went through like butter. Anyone have a favorite brand for that kind of work?

That's a huge win, and it makes me wonder if the steel quality is the real difference. Like, @uma_nelson85 might be onto something about old tools just giving up. A good chisel feels like it wants to cut.
