Got burned by a lime mortar mix from a local yard in Scranton

The supplier swore it was the same blend I always used, but three walls spalled out on me last month and I had to chip back 40 feet of joints. Anyone else ever get a bad batch that looked fine in the bag but fell apart on the trowel?
