Shoutout to the foreman in Tucson who caught my header course drifting 3/8 inch over 20 feet before the inspector showed up
I was laying block on a west-facing wall at a job off Speedway last Thursday when he put a level on my sixth course and asked how long I thought I could keep eyeballing it, so I tore out 14 blocks and reset them with a line block on the corner.

Man that foreman did you a solid. Catching a drift like that before the inspector walks is the difference between a good day and a bad one. Tearing out 14 blocks hurts but it hurts way less than a failed inspection and a redo on your own dime. Sounds like you handled it right too, no ego, just fixed it. Good on both of you.
