TIL a crew in Tulsa laid 900 brick in a day with no string line, now I'm questioning my whole setup
Was on a job site in Tulsa last month and watched these guys run a whole wall off one corner block and a 4 foot level. No string, no line blocks, nothing. They hit 900 brick in about 8 hours and the wall was dead straight when I checked it. Part of me thinks it's just showing off, but another part wonders if I'm wasting time fiddling with lines all day. Any of you ever work a wall with no string line, and did it actually save time or just look cool?
