Warning: the old supply yard guy in Dayton told me a cube of brick has 500, and I counted a pallet myself
I always ordered by the cube assuming it was around 500 brick, but last Thursday the guy at the yard on Third Street said a standard cube runs 500 to 525 depending on how they stack it, so you can gain or lose half a course on a big wall. I counted a pallet of 500 on a job in Kettering and he was right down to the piece. Now I add a little cushion on long runs and I am curious if anyone here orders by the cube or just by the thousand.
