Used my landlord's old shop vac to unclog the bathroom sink and pulled out a LEGO tire
Our bathroom sink has drained slow for about 6 months and I was quoted $175 just to have a guy come look at it. Last Saturday I borrowed my landlord's beat up shop vac, wrapped a rag around the hose end to seal it against the drain, and let it rip for about 10 seconds. It sucked out a hair blob the size of my thumb plus a small black LEGO tire that my kid must have dropped in there 2 years ago. Drain runs like new now and I learned that a wet/dry vac makes a way better drain snake than the $20 plastic one I snapped in half. Anyone else pulling weird stuff out of their pipes, or am I the only one with a toy car graveyard under the bathroom?
