Am I the only one who thinks people overcomplain about the price of eggs?

I keep seeing posts about how eggs are too expensive for a cheap meal, but a dozen large ones are still under $3 at my local Aldi. That's like 25 cents per egg for a solid protein. What's a budget staple you think gets unfairly knocked?

You mentioned budget staples getting knocked. My buddy was just complaining about dried beans, saying they're too much work. He spends way more on canned soup instead, which is basically just salty water with a few beans in it.

But is it really that big of a deal? Some people just don't want to soak beans overnight (which is fair, honestly).
