Bought a $30 rice cooker at a yard sale and it's my new kitchen hero

I make big batches of rice and beans now for like $2 a meal, it's so easy. What's your favorite cheap appliance find?

I always thought a stand mixer was a total luxury item. Found a vintage one for twenty bucks at a thrift store, and it completely changed my baking game. Now I make all our bread and pizza dough from scratch, which saves a ton of money. That old thing works better than my friend's fancy new model.
