Hot take: I chose frozen veggies over fresh for a month and saved $32
Last month I had to pick between buying fresh broccoli for $3 a head or a big bag of frozen for $2, so I went frozen for everything. It actually worked great until I tried to roast the frozen green beans and they came out like sad little mush sticks. Has anyone else had better luck with a specific frozen veggie that doesn't turn into a disaster in the oven?

Frozen corn actually roasts pretty decent if you spread it thin on the pan. Broccoli and cauliflower are the only ones that hold up in my experience, everything else turns into mush no matter what you do.

I really feel you on those sad mush sticks, I've been there too. @joel_singh84 you're right that broccoli and cauliflower hold up way better, I've had decent luck with frozen brussels sprouts if you roast them long enough to get some char. Honestly I think most frozen veggies are better for soups or stir fries where texture doesn't matter as much. The money saving part is real though, sometimes you just have to take the win where you can get it.
