Pro tip: My bag of dried beans split open in the pantry and I had to sort them from the rice for 45 minutes.

Has anyone else had a pantry disaster that almost ruined a cheap dinner plan?

Ugh, that's the worst, but at least it wasn't lentils!

Wait, are lentils really worse? I feel like at least lentils would just clump together and you could scoop them out easy. Small hard beans get everywhere and bounce around like they're playing hide and seek. And lentils cook down into mush so they'd probably just dissolve into the sauce instead of ruining the whole texture. Honestly I'd take lentils over random small beans any day.

Yeah i saw a thing once about using a colander to separate stuff like that. Jackson.sage has a point though, lentils would be way worse.
