Tried that viral budget meal prep with frozen chicken breasts and now I'm out $40

I followed a TikTok recipe for freezer-friendly chicken burritos and every single one came out dry and stringy after thawing, basically inedible. Anyone else get burned by those cheap freezer meal hacks that just don't work?

Did you try cooking them directly from frozen instead of thawing first? I used to think any freezer meal hack would save both time and money, but after ruining a batch of chicken thighs last month I totally get where you're coming from. The texture just goes weird no matter what you do, so now I only freeze stuff like soups or stews where the dryness isn't as noticeable.

Oh come on, it can't be that bad. @the_joel I've been cooking frozen chicken thighs straight from the bag for years and they turn out fine. Maybe you're just overcooking them or something.
