When my cheap veggie stir-fry turned into a cardio workout

I decided to get fit and save money by making a big batch of stir-fry with whatever was on sale. Grabbed a bunch of discount veggies and some tofu, then cranked the heat to get it done fast. Somehow, I knocked the pan handle, and the whole thing went flying across the kitchen floor. Spent the next 20 minutes chasing broccoli and bell peppers like they were escape artists while doing squats to pick them up. My heart was racing, and I definitely broke a sweat, so maybe it counted as exercise. Ended up eating it anyway after a quick rinse, because budget life. Now I call it my accidental fitness meal prep.

Hold up, you ate that stir-fry after it hit the floor? I'm shocked you just rinsed it and went for it. My kitchen floor has seen things I don't even want to think about, like dropped raw chicken juice from last week. Germs are no joke, and a quick rinse won't fix that. You're braver than I am, or maybe just really committed to that budget life. Still, I'd draw the line at eating floor food, fitness prep or not.

Yikes, I have to push back on this. Chasing veggies around the kitchen isn't really a workout (it's just a messy accident). Plus, eating food off the floor after a rinse is pretty risky for germs and stuff. If you want to save money and get fit, maybe plan your stir-fry better so it doesn't fly everywhere. Breaking a sweat by accident doesn't mean you got any real exercise in. Honestly, I'd call that a kitchen fail, not fitness prep.
