Accidentally walked 60 miles in Tokyo across 3 days
Was trying to save train fare and figured I'd just walk between districts. 60 miles later and a pair of destroyed sneakers, I realized I'd seen more of the city than any subway tourist ever does. Anybody else get carried away trying to save a few bucks on transit?

Laughing at the thought of your sneakers filing for divorce after that walk. I once tried to save a few bucks by walking from Shibuya to Shinjuku and ended up lost in a residential maze for an hour. My feet still haven't forgiven me for that one.

Actually Shibuya to Shinjuku isn't that bad distance wise, it's the weird side streets in between that get you. My record for getting lost in that residential pocket is two hours lol.
