Am I the only one who blew a whole week's food budget in one day in Savannah?
I gave myself $70 for food for 7 days during a road trip through Savannah, then walked past a shrimp place on River Street and spent $52 on one plate of peel and eat shrimp and a beer. The rest of the week was gas station crackers and a sad banana, but that shrimp was the best thing I ate all trip. How do you all stop yourselves from blowing the food budget on day one when the local spots smell so good?
You spent 52 bucks on shrimp and beer, that's just a vacation tax you pay once. Eating crackers for a few days won't kill you and you got a story out of it.
