My sister called my packing method 'ridiculous' and she was right
She pointed out I was paying for a checked bag just to bring a full size shampoo bottle I'd use maybe twice. Now I just buy a $1 travel size at a pharmacy in the first city I land in, like I did in Lisbon. Anyone have other toiletry hacks that save on bag fees?

Wait, you were checking a whole bag just for ONE shampoo bottle? That's wild. I used to do that with conditioner until I realized I could just use the hotel stuff or grab a tiny bottle. My friend once paid a fee because she packed her giant hairspray can.
