TIL that booking a flight on a Tuesday vs. Wednesday can save over $100 on average

I was reading a breakdown on Scott's Cheap Flights (now Going) and they had data showing Wednesday departures are consistently cheapest, like $85 less than a Saturday flight. Has anyone else noticed a big price gap just by shifting departure days by one?

Wow, I used to totally think Tuesday was the magic day for cheap flights. But seeing actual data about Wednesday being even cheaper makes me rethink my whole booking strategy. Guess I've been leaving a solid chunk of change on the table this whole time.
