Comparing Aldi and Wegmans for my weekly groceries saved me $40 a month and the produce was actually better.

I tracked every dollar for 3 months, Aldi came out way ahead on staples like eggs and milk, and their avocados lasted 4 days longer than Wegmans ones did, anyone else notice a big difference between store brands?

Four days longer on avocados? That's wild, I don't believe it.

People get weirdly passionate about avocado storage hacks like it's life changing. It keeps for maybe an extra day or two if you're lucky, not some magical four day extension. Half the time it still browns anyway so this feels like a lot of fuss over nothing.
