Dropped $150 on a fancy coffee grinder and it paid for itself in 3 months

I got tired of spending $5 a day at the coffee shop before work, so I bought a used Baratza Encore grinder off Facebook Marketplace for $150. I already had a French press at home, but my old blade grinder made such a mess that I gave up on it. This burr grinder gives me consistent grounds that actually brew a good cup. Now I make my coffee at home every morning and it tastes better than what I was buying. I did the math and I'm saving about $100 a month just on coffee. Has anyone else switched to home brewing and seen real savings? What grinder do you use?

Oh man, I totally get that! I picked up a basic manual grinder for like 25 bucks a couple years ago and it still works perfect, @young.emma. Some of these fancy electric ones cost a fortune and honestly, the simple ones do the job just fine. I've dropped mine a few times on the counter and it still grinds like a champ. Plus it's nice not having to plug anything in or deal with noisy motors in the morning. You really can't beat that price for what you get.
