Hit my $5k emergency fund goal last Tuesday. Felt weird.

Never thought I'd get there. Took me about 14 months of small cuts. Cancelled my gym membership, started packing lunch. Even sold some old vinyl records I never played. Hit exactly $5,012 on April 9th. My car needed new tires that same week. Funny how the universe tests you right when you hit a milestone. Anyone else have a number that just felt impossible at first?

My buddy dropped $5k on a 1997 Honda Civic and it was still slow as hell.
