I just read that the average person spends $1,500 a year on coffee shop drinks

I saw that number in a local finance blog for Cincinnati, and it made me check my own bank app. Sure enough, I was on track to spend almost that much before I started making my own cold brew at home. Has anyone else cut out a small daily expense that added up to a huge yearly number?

Cutting out lunch delivery saved me a stupid amount of money.

My wife and I stopped ordering lunch delivery last month and we saved like $300. I mean, the fees and tips were adding up to almost as much as the food itself. It's crazy how you don't even notice it until you look at your bank statement. We just make sandwiches or heat up leftovers now. It feels kind of dumb that we didn't do it sooner.
