Laptop died at the laundromat and my $9 coin jar saved the whole night
I was sitting at the Spin City on 5th waiting on my wash when my laptop just shut off with no charger in sight, and I had a paper due at midnight. Dug the emergency coin jar out of my bag, rolled $9.25 in quarters at the change machine, and bought 45 minutes of their wifi plus a outlet spot from the guy at the counter. Anyone else keep a cash stash for dumb moments like this, or is it just me?

Man, the real win here is that the change machine didn't eat your quarters first. Those things are basically slot machines that never pay out. I'd have been standing there feeding it one at a time like an idiot.
