Showerthought: my $12 coffee maker finally died after 8 years and I almost bought a $90 one on the spot
Last Tuesday the thing started making this awful grinding noise and the pot cracked right when I was rushing out the door for work. I stood in the store aisle with the $90 one in my hand and thought about how my mom ran hers for 15 years and just fixed it with a rubber band and a screwdriver. How do you all decide when it's worth fixing something cheap versus just letting it go?
