The $30 a month coffee habit I thought was fine

I always told myself my daily drive-thru coffee was no big deal, like $2.50 a drink. Then I added up what I spent in January and it was $87. That's more than my phone bill. The number finally clicked when I saw I could make the same thing at home for maybe $0.30. Has anyone else had a small habit sneak up on them like that?

Yo wait, did you factor in the gas money you're burning driving to the drive-thru every day? I figured out my "quick $5 lunch" habit was actually costing me like $200 a month once I added up all the little extras.
