Checked out the new art supply store downtown and their journal section is a mess

Went to Paper Dreams on Main Street yesterday and their bullet journal notebooks are all mixed in with sketch pads and coloring books. I had to dig through a pile to find a dotted Leuchtturm. How do you guys organize your local store's stock so you can find what you need?

They had a Leuchtturm just sitting in a pile? That's a crime. Those things are like thirty bucks. You'd think they'd keep the expensive stuff up front.

Honestly, I get hiding the good stuff. Makes it feel like a secret find. Plus, if it's up front, someone might just grab it and walk out.
