Digital vs. paper dailies, paper won after a 3 month test

I spent 3 months tracking everything in Notion on my phone, then switched back to my A5 Leuchtturm for daily spreads. The difference was huge, not about features but about friction. Typing felt fast but I never looked back at old notes, while flipping pages in my bujo actually helped me remember stuff and spot patterns I kept missing. Anyone else notice their brain just sticks with pen and paper better, or is it just me?

Three weeks in I realized I had 47 random notes in Notion and zero memory of what any of them meant. My handwriting is so bad that half the time I can't read my own bujo entries either, but somehow the act of scribbling it down makes it stick in my head anyway. I think my brain just treats typing like talking to a wall, while pen and paper is like having a conversation with myself on purpose.
