Finally tried a monthly log after avoiding them for 2 years
I always thought monthly logs were a waste of space since I only used dailies and weeklies. But last month I got a new job and my schedule went crazy so I gave one a shot. I drew a simple grid and tracked deadlines and appointments and after 2 weeks I realized I wasn't missing anything anymore. It just helped me see the big picture without flipping through 30 pages. Has anyone else been stubborn about trying a layout and ended up loving it?

Oh man, YES. I was the exact same way for like a year (maybe even longer honestly). I kept thinking monthly spreads were just extra work for no reason but then I tried one during a really busy season and it clicked immediately. It's wild how much easier it is to plan when you can actually see everything laid out in front of you instead of hunting through pages. I actually look forward to setting mine up now which is something I never thought I'd say.

@the_joseph You just described my exact journey with this. I resisted monthly spreads for so long because I thought my weekly layout was enough, but man was I wrong. The first time I actually sat down and did a full monthly spread during a hectic month, everything just clicked into place like you said. It's almost weird how satisfying it is to flip back and see the whole month at a glance without flipping through a dozen pages. I legit look forward to setting up my monthly spread now too, especially with a fresh set of pens and a quiet morning. Makes you wonder why we fought it for so long.
