Finally went back to a simple weekly layout after years of complex spreads
I used to fill two full pages with habit trackers, meal logs, and mood charts. Got it from some YouTube creator back in 2019. After a few months I stopped keeping up with it because it was too much work to fill in every night. Last week I stripped it down to just a basic Monday through Sunday list with a tiny to-do section on the side. Everything fits on one spread now and I've actually used it every day since. Has anyone else found that simpler spreads stuck around longer in their routine?

It really does feel like a chore when you have to fill out all those extra boxes every single day. I did the exact same thing with those elaborate habit trackers and meal logs, and after about a month I just felt guilty looking at all the empty spaces. Now I just jot down appointments and a few tasks for the day, and it's been working for almost a year without me falling off. It's nice when the planner actually helps you instead of stressing you out.

Oh man SAME. I went all in on those fancy bujo spreads like three years ago and it turned into a chore. Now I just use a plain notebook with a list for the week and a little box for reminders. It's way more chill and I actually look forward to filling it out instead of dreading it.
