Found out my bullet journal habit costs me about $200 a year in pens alone

I did the math on my notebook and pen spending for 2023 and realized I drop roughly $200 annually just on Pilot G2s and Leuchtturms, so do you track your yearly bujo costs or just ignore it like I did until now?

Add it to the list of things we spend money on without noticing. Coffee is another one, people drop five bucks a day and act surprised when its $1,500 a year. I bet if everyone checked their subscriptions, snack habits, and parking fees theyd find a few hundred bucks floating away.

$1500 a year on coffee is no joke, @evan_morgan81. But Ive noticed people treat every five dollar purchase like its nothing because its small. Then they wonder why they cant save for a house or a vacation. Its the same with fast food or buying lunch at work instead of packing one. People think theyre saving time but theyre burning money. The real kicker is most folks dont even look at their bank statements until its too late. Youre right that the small stuff adds up faster than people want to admit.
