Honestly spent $30 on a single Leuchtturm1917 and it changed how I track my spending
Tbh I used to just use random notebooks from the dollar store for my bullet journal, but last spring I dropped $30 on a Leuchtturm1917 with numbered pages. The built-in index and page numbers actually made me stick with my budget spread for 8 months straight, which is insane for me. Has anyone else found that spending a bit more on the notebook itself helped them stay consistent?

Spending more on a notebook is just paying for a placebo effect though, the real work is building the habit regardless of the paper quality. Does a fancy cover actually stop you from impulse buying if you don't have the discipline yet?
