I always packed my bujo with fancy trackers, but a simple list changed everything.
My old journals had mood charts, sleep logs, the whole works. A rough patch at work made me drop all that and just write three daily tasks. Seeing those plain pages actually helped me focus and finish things. Now I flip through my old stuff and it feels like a different person made it.

I used to glue in those fancy weekly planner kits until my journal wouldn't close. The real shift for me was feeling the paper again, just my pen on a blank page. All that decoration was actually a distraction from the slow work of figuring out what I actually needed to do. A plain list forces you to sit with your own priorities without any pretty buffer.

Fancy trackers can make journaling feel like a show. A simple list turns it back into a tool for your brain.

That "pretty buffer" is exactly why I switched to a cheap notebook and a single pen.
