Just filled the last page of my third Leuchtturm notebook

That's 240 pages of daily logs and trackers. I started this one back in January, so it lasted almost six months. It felt good to close it up and start a fresh one. Anyone else get a weird sense of accomplishment from finishing a whole journal?

Oh that "weird sense of accomplishment" you mentioned is so real. It's not just finishing the book, it's like you can hold six months of your life in your hands. I always run my thumb over the edge of all the filled pages when I'm done. Starting the new one feels full of promise, but closing the old one is the real win. Good on you for sticking with it that long.

Funny, I used to think finishing a journal just meant you needed a new one. But what @angela_knight said about holding that time in your hands really clicked for me. It's the proof you actually lived through those months, good and bad. Now I get why closing it feels more solid than just cracking open a fresh one. That worn edge under your thumb is the whole point.
