Just realized my bullet journal works better with a single pen color
Everyone says you need a rainbow of pens for color coding, but it just made my weekly spread feel messy and hard to read. After a frustrating month in March, I switched to only using a black Pilot G2, and my focus improved immediately. Has anyone else found that simplifying their tools actually helped them stick with the system?

Forget the pens, the real problem is the pressure to make every page look perfect. I spent more time picking colors than actually planning my week, and @linda_mason82 has the right idea sticking to one tool. A single pen forces you to focus on the content, not the decoration.
