Library archive in Austin gave me a new daily log trick

I was flipping through old city records for fun and noticed the librarians kept marginalia in the margins with tiny arrows. So I tried adding mini side notes to my daily log for tasks that bounce to tomorrow, and my weekly review takes half the time now. Anyone else pull ideas from non-bujo places like archives or old ledgers?
