My bullet journal looked like a mess for about 8 months, then I switched to a single pen.

I was using a whole rainbow of colors for everything, but it just made my weekly spread confusing. Has anyone else simplified their tools and seen a big improvement?

Isn't it funny how we add stuff trying to get organized and it just makes more chaos? I see this everywhere, from kitchen drawers to phone apps. Sometimes the best fix is just taking things away.

Totally get that, a single pen was a game changer for me too. It forces you to actually plan instead of just decorating, lol. @theagarcia is right about taking things away, my whole desk setup got better after I did a big purge. Limiting your tools just cuts out so much noise and makes the whole process way faster.
