My weekly spread used to be a total mess until I tried a simple change

I mean, for like six months my bujo pages were just a wall of rapid logs and tasks, and I'd get stressed trying to find anything. Last week, I decided to try something I saw online and split my page into three columns: one for appointments, one for tasks, and a skinny one for notes. The difference is crazy. Before, my Monday page was just a jumble of 'call vet' and '3pm meeting' all mixed together. Now, I can see my whole day at a glance. It took maybe five extra minutes to set up, but it saved me so much time flipping around. I'm actually looking forward to filling it out now. Has anyone else tried a column layout and found it helped them?

Columns are a game changer for sure, but I actually keep my notes mixed in with tasks. @sage_fox has a point about things getting lost, but for me the mess works. If I separate everything out, I end up with too many pages to check. My brain needs to see the random podcast idea next to the vet appointment, it somehow makes me remember both. The chaos is part of my system now.

Totally get the column thing, but careful with that skinny notes column. Mine always ends up a weird catch-all for random thoughts and then I can't find the actual important note from Tuesday. Started making a separate page just for notes that run longer than a line, or else I'll write "grocery list" and then three days later it's buried under "idea for a podcast name" and "remember that movie with the guy.
