TIL my bullet journal recipe page got me into a spicy situation

I use my bullet journal for meal planning and recipe tracking. Last night, I tried a new pasta dish from my bujo list. My handwriting is not the best, so I misread garlic as ginger on the page. I ended up adding a huge amount of ginger to the sauce. The pasta tasted like something from a bad fusion restaurant. We all laughed so hard when we tasted it. Now I make sure to write ingredients clearly in my journal. It's a silly story but it shows how details matter in bullet journaling.

Try highlighting ingredients you might mix up.

Honestly, the cinnamon and cumin look identical in my spice jars, a mistake that once led to some truly interesting chili. My personal nemesis is baking soda versus baking powder. You get one mixed up and your pancakes turn into sad, dense hockey pucks. I've started putting big tape labels on everything after that salt-for-sugar cookie disaster.
