Tried using washi tape as a page marker and it ruined 3 months of spreads

I used a pretty washi tape to mark my weekly spread and after two days the tape bled through five pages and left sticky residue everywhere. The ink on my spreads underneath is now completely ruined and I have to redo February through April. Anybody got a tape brand that actually peels off clean?

I had a sticker lift the entire ink off my May cover page.

Honestly I used to be one of those people who thought stickers were pretty harmless on planners. I was wrong. I had a cute little washi tape star on my April spread and when I peeled it off it took a chunk of the ink with it, totally ruining the quote I had written underneath. Now I just use stickers on sticky notes or I put them on the back of my pages. It's such a bummer when it happens though because you spend all that time making it look nice.
