Used to color code every single task by category in my bullet journal, now I just use one black pen and add stickers when I feel like it.
Spent two years obsessing over highlighters and color keys until I realized keeping all those markers in my bag was a nightmare, so I simplified and honestly my weeks feel way more manageable now has anyone else ditched their color system for something simpler?

My friend Sarah spent a whole year doing the rainbow thing with seven different gel pens, then her toddler got into her bag and turned her entire monthly spread into one big purple mess. She switched to just a black Pilot pen and some cheap cat stickers from the dollar store, and now she says it's the first time she's actually kept up with her journal past February. I mean, sometimes the universe just forces you to simplify, right?
