A retired librarian in Duluth changed how I read street flyers

She told me every staple hole is a story, like the missing art class poster from 2019 that still has tape ghosts on the corkboard. Now I look at the layers of faded paper and think about the people who put them up. Anyone else start reading the backs of old flyers because of someone random?

Old flyers have way more ghosts than people realize, that's for sure.
