Found a hand written recipe behind the coffee shop corkboard, 3 people claim it's theirs

There's this board near the laundromat on 5th and Main, usually just lost cat photos and tutoring flyers. Last Tuesday someone pinned up a yellow index card with a lasagna recipe, no name, just a phone number at the bottom. Took a photo, made it that weekend. Honestly best thing I've cooked in months. But here's the weird part, I went back to ask about it and the card is gone. Two different people at the shop say they wrote it, and a third says it was her grandma's. So is a found recipe fair game to keep and use, or should I have left it alone and asked first? Has anyone else cooked something off a random board and hit this weird ownership thing?
