Found a handwritten recipe pinned next to a missing cat flyer

At the laundromat on 5th Ave, someone stapled a 1970s chocolate cake recipe right under a lost tabby poster. I took a photo instead of the cat, baked it Sunday, and it was the best thing I've made all month. Has anyone else grabbed a random recipe off a board and actually tried it?

Its wild how anonymous strangers on a board can out-cook half the recipe blogs online, honestly kinda sad.
